Our Story
Embaixadores da Educação was founded by young people from Brazil’s whose lives had been transformed by social impact opportunities and who refused to accept that these pathways should remain rare.
With no office, funding, or institutional structure, a group of 18-year-olds began meeting on a bench in Belo Horizonte’s Municipal Park, determined to expand these opportunities to other students.
What began as a grassroots movement has grown into a nationally recognized nonprofit reaching students across Brazil.
What We Do
We work to transform the life trajectories of public school students across the country, with a special focus on:
Youth in remote territories, rural areas, and small municipalities where opportunities are most limited.
-
350,000+ students reached;
-
Presence in all Brazilian states;
-
Strong reach in remote and rural territories;
Our footprint is national, but our work is intentionally focused where opportunity is scarcest.
Why what we do matters now
Brazil is approaching the end of its demographic dividend, expected to close around 2035. If this generation is equipped and activated now, the country could unlock historic social and economic progress. If we fail, inequalities may become entrenched for decades.

Our Programs
Crie o Impossível: Brazil’s largest open classroom for public school students and one of the world’s largest community-based educational broadcasts, expanding horizons and connecting youth with relatable role models.
Empower: The Empower journey transforms inspiration into action. Students develop real impact projects in their schools and communities while building essential 21st-century skills such as leadership, creativity, problem-solving, and execution.
Student Community: Sustains these trajectories over time by connecting participants to a national network of opportunities, including scholarships, exchange programs, and leadership initiatives.

Students Testimonials

What Do We Need Now?
Embaixadores da Educação has already built and proven a high-impact model at national scale but to sustain and expand it, we now need institutional partners committed to strengthening our core capacity beyond project-based funding.
This is a decisive moment to invest in the long-term sustainability of a strategy capable of driving systemic change in Brazilian public education.
We are seeking institutional investment not project-based funding to strengthen our governance, team, and operational capacity and ensure the continuity of our impact at scale.
