Ambassadors of Education was founded in 2013 by a group of young people who had recently graduated from public schools and were dissatisfied with the reality of public education they had experienced. The group met while participating in NEJ — the Youth Entrepreneurship Center, a social project offered outside of school hours for students in the public school system.

Upon completing high school and the project, they gathered in a public square in Belo Horizonte (MG) with a clear purpose: to think about how to transform the reality of schools and multiply the opportunities they had received for other students who did not have the same chances.

Without resources, but with a strong desire to make a difference, the collective was created by 11 young people, aged 18, under a tree, on a park bench. Thus, the Ambassadors of Education were born.

From an informal group with the desire to change the world, the organization was formalized in 2017 and, since then, has impacted more than 300,000 students from public schools in all states of Brazil.

Mission

To empower public school students as achievers , enabling them to realize their potential for personal and social transformation —so that they become the protagonists of their own stories and the change they dream of seeing in the world.

We create entrepreneurial education solutions — experiences, methodologies, and networks — to engage, develop, provide opportunities for, and inspire young Brazilian public school students enrolled in high school, on a large scale, through inspiration and practice .

To truly transform the trajectory of public school students.

The values of Embaixadores da Educação (Ambassadors of Education) are not inspirational wall quotes. They are practices , behaviors , and habits that, in our daily lives, have transformed us from a small initiative in Minas Gerais into a nationally impactful organization that inspires people, mobilizes networks, and transforms realities. Here, culture is not a detail—it is what sustains everything. After all, "culture eats strategy for breakfast."

1. Words convince, example compels.

Acting with consistency between words and actions. We believe in the domino effect of good. What you do inspires more than what you say. It's the example that moves, transforms, and pulls others along. When someone has the courage to act truthfully, they become a reference and give permission for others to rise up as well. Whoever sees a problem and takes responsibility for their part inspires others to do the same. That's leadership. That's living culture.

2. Hands-on

We don't just believe in a better world—we create that world with our own hands. Here, everyone is part of the solution. Being proactive, getting involved, taking initiative, making things happen with high execution capacity. Learning by doing. Being the solution you want to see in the world. Not waiting for someone else to solve it. It's a commitment to action and results.

3. Right is right.

We do what's right, even when it's harder, takes longer, or seems like nobody's watching. We don't take shortcuts. We act with honesty and integrity at all times. We don't trade what's right for what's easier or more convenient. We know that when we mix personal matters with organizational matters, everyone loses. That's why we live with radical integrity: there's no on/off switch. It's constant.

5. Everyone can

We believe in the potential of all people, but we acknowledge inequalities and structural barriers. It doesn't matter where they come from, but rather what they can build when they find space, support, and opportunity. We know that talent is universal, but opportunity is not—that's why we create pathways for each person to discover and activate their greatest potential.

7. Vulnerabilidade e transparência

We grow together when there's room to be genuine. Here, nobody needs to pretend to be perfect. We believe that only those who are truly themselves can truly help. It's through honest exchange, openness, and shared mistakes that we evolve. It's in shared truth that the most human and profound solutions are born.

4. Always believe in the impossible.

We radically believe in the power to transform realities. We dream big. And we achieve. Because if no one has done it, it's only because they haven't tried it our way yet. "Not knowing it was impossible, he went and did it" is not just a phrase, it's our compass. We believe in people's transformative potential and in the power to make real what seemed unattainable.

6. More truth, less vanity

True transformation requires a commitment to real impact. We measure what truly matters. What drives us is not appearing transformative, but truly transforming. The focus is on what changes students' lives, not on likes, stages, or narratives. We look at results responsibly: we deliver what we promise, we meet our goals, and we keep impact as our compass.

8. People as an end, not as a means.

Here, people are the center, never the means. We believe in profound respect for the dignity of every human being—in our relationships with students, staff, and partners. This means treating everyone with humanity, consideration, and presence. The person comes before the function, the goal, or the result. It's radical respect for dignity, in every aspect.
